Kathryn Cross

Cross is one of two English imports for the 2014-15 Women’s Brisbane Heat team. She is a right arm seam bowler who has represented England in all three formats of the game.  She made history when she became the first Woman to play in the central Lancashire League taking 3-19 on debut. Later in the season Cross amazed everyone when she took 8-47.  Cross is an ambassador for Chance to Shine, a charity devoted to helping kids with education and leadership qualities.  She is the daughter of 1980 FA Cup winner and former West Ham United striker, David Cross. The 24 year old is an exciting addition to the Brisbane Heat and is expected to have a huge impact in the WBBL.
