Khaleel Ahmed (Wrongly Retained)

The left-arm pacer came in with a lot of promise. In the 2018 season, he played only one game where he gave 38 runs for no wicket. But in 2019, he took 19 wickets from 9 games at an average of 15.11. But going by his current form, he is a risky prospect.
In the recently concluded T20I series against Bangladesh, Khaleel was the weakest link. He took only 2 wickets from 3 games and had an awful average of 54. SRH already has pacers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Billy Stanlake, and Basil Thampi. So keeping the 21-year-old Rajasthan pacer might not be a good move.
Deepak Hooda (Wrongly Released)

Although Hooda isn’t a popular player in the squad, yet he brought a lot of promise in the team. While playing for Rajasthan Royals in 2015, he had a strike-rate of over 150. His batting average always kept between 10-30.
This wasn’t captivating but his aggressiveness was vital for the game plan. In the previous season, he scored 64 runs from 11 games and picked up 1 wicket. SRH already lack good Indian recruits. In this scenario Hooda could have been a useful prospect.
