The Indian team has witnessed many brilliants players in the last few decades performing well for the country and in the Indian cricketing history there were plenty good captains were there who lead the team with perfection, and still many Indian fans compare the captains of the different Era’s and also the players who have represented them in the past few era’s and won many accolades with the team.
The former Indian cricketer Akash Chopra also compares the team’s one which played under Sourav Ganguly and one which is currently playing under Virat Kohli.
The former test batsman Akash Chopra who made his test debut under Sourav Ganguly makes two hypothetical teams for Nostalgia.
Akash Chopa on his uploaded video on Youtube Channel he said:
“We went to Australia and drew the series there. We went to Pakistan and defeated them. In India, we drew one series and lost one series to Australia. And Sourav Ganguly’s team even drew the series in England. It was a fairly good team, a team which taught us how to win abroad,”
“Virat Kohli’s team has defeated Australia in their home conditions, the only team to have done so in Indian cricket history. But they lost in South Africa and lost quite badly in England. In South Africa, they came close but lost the series 2-1.”
