Ajinkya Rahane, who is going to be the stand-in captain for the upcoming Test match against Afghanistan, celebrated his 30th birthday on Wednesday.

Rahane’s average in overseas in 52 and 6 of his 9 centuries are scored outside the country. He has not yet cemented his place in the shorter formats but will definitely try to do so soon.
Rahane will lead the team as a stand-in captain against the Afghanistan team, who are going to make their debut in the longer format of the game.
Rahane will have a tough task ahead as the hosts have decided to rest some of their key players for the Test, which means Rahane has to step up his game and lead his team from the front.
