The 38-year-old, India born England Internationa and also the former skipper of England National Cricket Team Nasser Hussain feels like the Indian international and Captain Virat Kohli is Cristiano Ronaldo of Indian Cricket.

Indian Cricket Team has made a remarkable comeback to seal victory in the series-opener against England on Sunday, which was Kohli’s first match after taking the Captaincy charge of Indian Cricket Team.


As India won the toss and chooses to ball first, but got an unexpected 351 target to chase, where losses their opening wickets very early of the match and then the 28-year-old Indian captain came to pitch and once again, showed the world that why he is the best when it comes to chasing big totals in limited-overs cricket.


And the former England captain and current well known cricket commentator Nasser Hussain showered praise on the Indian skipper Kohli and compared him with four times ballon d’Or Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo as Nasser feels that Virat Kohli is the Cristiano Ronaldo of Indian cricket.

As commenting on Kohli, while covering the match for SkySports, Nasser Hussain said,

“I think what Kohli is trying to do is push the boundary and raise the bar of everything he does. I read out here that he prefers Ronaldo to Messi. Messi was given a lot of natural ability but he prefers Ronaldo, who has made himself the footballer that he is and pushed himself on and off football pitch, and that is what Kohli has done in cricketing terms”,
