The hilarious incident happened

As Paine started to respond some serious questions, the phone of one of the reporters Martin started ringing. The phone was kept in front of Paine on the table to record the skipper’s answers.

Paine surprised everyone and picked up the phone himself. He then started to talk politely to the person on the other side. He also advised the person to call a little bit later as Martin was in middle of a press conference.

Moreover Paine asked the person if he could pass on any message for Martin. To this he was told to check his email as soon as possible. The entire incident was unexpected and everyone present in the room started laughing.

The entire conversation went like this when Paine spoke on the phone:

Whose phone is that? Tim Paine speaking (Answering the call). Who is it Sorry? Oh, Ok. Who are you after? Casey in Hong Kong. Oh Martin! Oh Alright. He’s in the middle of a press conference. Can I get him to call you back? Alright, no worries. I’ll tell him to check his emails. Alright, thanks Casey, cheers.
