Three stalwarts who went unsold in the IPL auction

1)Kieron Pollard:

The present white-ball captain of West Indies Kieron Pollard who is a regular name for the famous franchise Mumbai Indians gone for unsold in 2009 auction.

At that stage, he was not a popular name to cricket and the franchises also don’t have any knowledge about him, but in the same year, he got the attention of every cricket lover in the Champions League T20 with the Jamaican giants Trinidad and Tobago.

He has scored amazing 54 runs in just 18 balls in the ground of Hyderabad against the New South Wales.

In the next year of IPL auction, most of the franchise opt for the West Indian all-rounder but Mumbai Indians came out top to secure his service since then there is no looking back for the all-rounder, in last nine years he has played 148 games for the four times IPL winners.
