2) Chris Gayle:

The Jamaican superstar is one of the crowd’s favorite in this mega league and out of all foreign players only the Australian David Warner has more runs than him in the IPL, and he also went unsold in the auction of 2011.

Though all the cricket fraternity knows about his credentials, but in that period his international poor at the rock bottom and the IPL franchises were unsure to open their bank account for him.

In international cricket, he was struggling to score runs and that’s the sole reason franchise didn’t show their trust on him, but later on in that season he joined Royal Challengers Bangalore as an injury replacement and showed other franchise owners what big mistake they have made by not roping him in the squad.

In that season, he has scored more than 600 runs for RCB with an unbelievable average of 67.55, the towering man propelled his team to the final where they eventually lost to Chennai Super Kings.
