BCCI president Anurag Thakur along with secretary Ajay Shirke is to attend a meeting with the members of the Lodha Panel on August 9.
Supreme Court accepted many of the reformations of the Lodha Committee to change the structural frontier of the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI). Now,the Court wants to change it as soon as possible and asked BCCI to start the implementation of reformation. BCCI. President and secretary Anurag Thakur and Ajay Shirkeis expected to meet the members of the Lodha Committee on August 9, 2016 to start the reformation
process. Reports say that BCCI lawyers will accompany Thakur.
The panel had already put a full stop on the Cricket Association of
Bengal and Karnataka State Association's elections. Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) elections held on 19 July was made invalid as state government minister Imran Raza Ansari was on the committee.
