Tendulkar Thanks Rohit for Making His Prediction Come True

Team India started the tour of England with a positive note as they defeated the hosts 2-1 to win a T20I series for the sixth consecutive time.

Cricket news: Rohit’s unbeaten century leads India to series win

It was a high scoring T20I game at Bristol and the fans were delighted to watch the game. Among millions of fans, there was master blaster Sachin Tendulkar who was also keenly following each and every ball.

India won the toss and decided to field first. England took the situation, as the surface is not suited for bowlers, and went off to a great start and seemed likely to post above 220.

However the Indian bowlers, mainly in the likes of Hardik Pandya, fought back and restricted the Brits to a below-par total of 198.

It was thought to be a cakewalk for the Indian batsmen because of the pitch, but nevertheless someone had to stick down there in the middle, and it was none other than the ‘Hitman’.

Starting the innings aggressively, he stayed in a positive mood and hit 5 sixes and 11 fours to score his century off just 56 deliveries.

It was a delight to watch the right-hander pull off shots all around the field. Sachin Tendulkar followed the game keenly and kept on sharing his views on Twitter as the game progressed.

During the halfway through the innings, the ‘Master Blaster’ predicted that India will finish the game and will chase down the target in 19 overs.

It indeed came true because of the blistering century from Rohit and because of that Tendulkar thanked the centurion for making his prediction right.

‘Such clean hitting by @ImRo45!! This innings was a pure joy to watch. Hope this form translates to the ODIs. (Thanks for helping my 19th over prediction come true!),’ Tendulkar tweeted.
