Suresh Raina Calls Pakistani Superstar ‘Bhai Jaan’ and Wishes Him Happy Eid

Eid-Ur-Fitr is a widely celebrated festival all around the globe and it was feasted yeaterday, while the entire Muslim fraternity of India is celebrating it today.

Cricket news: The Pakistani superstar had lots of ups and downs in his career and is currently struggling

Cricketers from all around the world are wishing their fans and receiving blessings from social media by posting their pictures with their family. Teammates and friends are sending their best wishes and celebrating the festival.

Mohammad Amir, the controversial cricketer from Pakistan, has also celebrated Eid by posting a picture with his wife Narjis Khatun and his daughter.

Narjis is a British-Pakistani and the couple met each other in London in 2010. They tied the knot amidst Amir’s ban in 2014. After Amir returned to cricket, they had their nikah ceremony in Lahore again in 2016.

The Punjab-born cricketer posted the pic on Instagram and wished everyone on Eid writing, “ID MUBARAK TO EVERYONE”

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, who has played against Amir previously, replied to his post calling him ‘bhai jaan’ and wished him happy Eid.

Amir’s career was derailed when he was caught in a spot-fixing scandal at the Lord’s in England. He along with fellow speedster Mohammad Asif and then Pakistan captain Salman Butt were suspended from cricket for five years.

Amir returned in the 2016 Asia Cup against India and ripped apart the star-studded batting line-up with his left arm pace bowling, but later failed to keep up with the promise.

The 26-year-old pacer recently represented his country in the two-match T20Is against Scotland where he could not perform well.

In the first match he took the wicket of Dylan Budge, but went for 45 runs in four overs, while in the second match he was side-lined. He needs to work hard as there are many young and promising cricketers who are on the line to make their place in the playing XI.
