The league stage of IPL 2019 will end on 5th May, Sunday with two matches. In the first game Chennai Super Kings will take on Kings XI Punjab at Mohali. In the second game, Kolkata Knight Riders will face Mumbai Indians at Mumbai.
So far CSK, MI and DC have already qualified for the playoffs. However depending on the last league day results, the top two teams will be finalized. On the other hand, RCB and RR are the teams that have no chance to go further.
The three remaining teams in the likes of KXIP, KKR and SRH are virtually and mathematically in the race. For the first time in the history of IPL, there is a high chance that a team might qualify for playoffs with less than 14 points.
