Shikhar Dhawan Chosen ahead of KL Rahul for the 1st t20 at Ranchi


Today here at Ranchi Shikhar Dhawan opened up the innings with Rohit Sharma because the selectors left behind Rahul for the run in the t20 and gave a chance  to Dhawan so as he will prove his dominance against the Kangaroos 

KL Rahul is a very important player from the perspective of the game an the way he plays his shots seems so natural and effortless but he is such a hardworker that he leaves no stones untouched for improving his game at any platform he gets through

The Indian opener KL Rahul though missed out for a century in the last test he played against Sri Lanka but he got up with a record of most number of consecutive half centuries to his name

KL Rahul is in the peak of his for and is leaving no chances behind to perform and prove his dominance in the world cricket; this person has registered his name in the hearts of billions of cricketing fans all over the world

KL Rahul scored his seventh half-century and  was dismissed for 85, which came off 135 balls and eight boundaries against Sri Lanka. Rahul was also involved in a robust 188-run stand for the first wicket with Shikhar Dhawan, but only the latter went on to get to triple figures.

Rahul began with scores of 64 and 10 at Pune in the first Test, made 90 and 51 at his hometown in Bengaluru, scored 67 at Ranchi and finished the series with scores of 60 and 51 not out in Dharamsala.

The second Test of India-Sri Lanka series saw KL Rahul once again falling after a half-century, when he was dismissed for 57 in India’s only innings. Rahul had missed the opening match of the series due to illness, which prevented him from travelling from Galle from Colombo
