Suresh Raina – 6.5/10
He is considered as one of the biggest superstars when it comes to IPL, but this season it had been an off-one for the left-handed batsman.
He has played 15 games and scored 445 runs and has scored some handy runs in crucial situations. But his inconsistent form has kept the entire CSK management worried all through the tournament.
MS Dhoni – 8.5/10
It was brilliant comeback by Chennai Super Kings, after their two years ban, as they went on to win the title for the third time under the able leadership of MS Dhoni. Many would say that this was a comeback season for Dhoni too, as he was seen again in power-hitting finisher role.
Besides his able captaincy, the 36-year-old also shone brightly with the bat scoring 455 runs from 15 innings with a staggering average of 75.83. Much will rely on Mahi’s shoulders when India will take on the England bowlers in the T20 series in July.
