Salaries of Indian Cricketers In 2018

5. Hardik Pandya – INR 3 Crores

He has ended India’s search of a genuine all-rounder as he is quite aggressive with the bat and is also a reliable bowler. Termed as the next ‘Kapil Dev’, he has still got a long road ahead to be called the true successor to the legend.

However he needs to improve his consistency and his batting against pacers. From Grade C contract, where he received ₹50 lakhs, he was upgraded to Grade B and now receives ₹3 crores per year.

6. Ishant Sharma – INR 3 Crores

Having started his career in 2007 at the age of 18, this lanky fast bowler has seen many ups and downs in his long 11-year career.

Having lost his pace a few years back, he has worked his way back beautifully and is probably bowling his best at the present.

He now plays only Tests and has more than 200 Test wickets. He has the ability to extract a good amount of bounce from the pitch along with having the ability of bowling good in-swingers. Presently he earns ₹3 crores every year.

7. Dinesh Karthik – INR 3 Crores

He has re-emerged once again and has found himself back on the international platform in a grand way, as he helped India to win the Nidahas Trophy in 2018, scoring majority of the 34 runs in the last two overs in the final game.

If the wicketkeeper-batsman from Tamil Nadu does not throw away his consistency, like he previously did on many occasions, 2018 would be a vital year for him. According to his contract he earns an annual salary of ₹3 crores.

8. Mohammed Shami – INR 3 Crores

He is facing the worst time of his career, both on and off the field. Having been accused of domestic violence, he was ripped off from the annual contracts, but was later reinstated when he was cleared off all charges.

He did not have a great IPL this year and also failed in the fitness test and was pulled out of the historic Afghanistan Test. If he trains on the mental side of the game, he will become a good asset for the team in the future. He currently gets ₹3 crores per year.
