1. MS Dhoni – INR 5 Crores

Dhoni is one of the popular faces in Indian cricket and is unarguably the best captain of India. He is best known for his finishing abilities, his clinical wok with the gloves and for his excellent captaincy.
Although he is at the twilight of his career, yet his abundant experience can guide the youngsters coming through the ranks. He is expected to hold the key of his country till the 2019 World Cup.
He was one of the highest paid cricketers until last year, but since he now plays only in the limited format, his contract was downgraded and now receives ₹5 crores per annum.
2. Ajinkya Rahane – INR 5 Crores

He is mainly known for his calm and cool attitude, as he works silently and is quite under-rated. He is also the deputy to Kohli in the longer format of the game.
Although he does not get much opportunity in the shorter formats of the game, however he is a crucial member in the Test squad of India.
As he does not play all the three formats in a regular basis, he is paid ₹5 crores per year.
3. Murali Vijay – INR 5 Crores

He is one of the stylish players of India and is entrusted with the job of opening the batting in Test cricket. He has got some great skill and patience, and can bat for long hours continuously.
He has played in almost all the Tests for India in the last few months and has provided the team with some great starts. As he plays almost all the Tests, he is given an annual salary of ₹5 crores.
