I think people should not assimilate Dhoni and Smith’s captaincy as he is still one of the best players in cricket domain.

The Rinsing Pune supergiant opener Ajinkya Rahane still believes MS  Dhoni the best leader on the side,

In this term of IPL, the Australian captain Steve Smith is leading the RPS side,

In the previous year under Dhoni’s command, the RPS team unable to outshine as a result this term the RPS management decided to drop him down from the post and take the charges to the Steve Smith’s hand.

Last night in their first game against Mumbai Indians under Smith’s captaincy the RPS manages to win the match as Steve Smith played a wonderful knock for them,

Last night he scored 84 runs in just 54 balls, Ajinkya Rahane also played brilliantly in the top order as he scored 60 runs for them,

And they able to chase down 185 runs against the Mumbai Indians.

The RPS opener made it clear that he believes Dhoni remains as a primary leader for the RPS side.

Rahane said: “Though Steve Smith has led the Australian side very well, for me, MS Dhoni is still the best leader. This was the first game as leader for Smith, but he was learning from Dhoni as well,”

In the post-match conference, the RPS opener prevented himself from comparing the MS Dhoni and Steve smith.

He added: “It is very difficult as I have just played one game under Smith. I have played a lot more under Mahi Bhai’s captaincy and we all know he is a world-class leader. I think people should not compare Smith and Dhoni’s captaincy. He (Dhoni) is still a world-class player,”

Last night in the match we all see that the New captain Smith also sought some counsel from the Indian great.

Rahane elucidated: “Smith was seen taking more tips from him. Dhoni was seen giving tips and inputs to Smith in the middle.”

In their next match, the RPS side will play against the KXIP side.
