LATHAM AND WILLIAMSON HALF CENTURIES GAVE VISITORS A LEAD OF 151 RUNS.

Day 2 of the first Test in Bulawayo belongs to New Zealand again, who finish the day with a lead of 151 runs with 6 wickets still in hand. Resuming on 32/0, opener Tom Latham scored a 4th Test century whilst skipper Kane Williamson made 91 as New Zealand took the attack to the hosts to end the day 315/4

Zimbabwe gave away all of themselves in the last session to control things back. For a short period of time, Williamson and Latham looked very dangerous. Latham after completing a ton, he threw wicket to part-timer Masakadza after losing his momentum. Williamson kept scoring for some time before Cremer prised him out at the score of 91 just short of his ton. Nicholls was not confident when he came in to bat and lost his wicket to an outswinger from Tiripano. New Zealand now leads by 151 runs and Zimbabwe will have to put in all the effort to stop them.
