As per the statistics England has beaten India for the consecutive 3 times in a row and this will definitely boost up their confidence level, but that during the captaincy of MS Dhoni and as of now we the much aggressive captain Virat Kohli.

Playing XI:

India: Murali Vijay, Gautam Gambhir, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli(c), Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav

England: Alastair Cook(c), Haseeb Hameed, Joe Root, Ben Duckett, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow(w), Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Stuart Broad, Steven Finn

This is what the Captains said:

Virat Kohli: “The wicket should be good enough to bowl as well, so not that bad to lose the toss. We don’t take any side for granted. We focus on our plans. We are playing five bowlers. Their lower-order contribute a lot, so that is one of the main reasons we are playing the extra bowler.”

Alastair Cook: “We will have a bat first. Looks a good cricket wicket and will dry up with the heat. I think it will turn later on, a traditional Indian wicket. We’ve been in Bangladesh for a month or so, the guys are ready to play. It’s a great challenge to play the number one side. We are playing three spinners, three seamers. It’s a great place to make a debut for Haseeb.”
