The captain of the Indian football team, Sunil Chhetri, has taken to twitter to urge the entire nation to visit the nearest stadium and cheer in support of the football team.

The captain of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, has also taken to twitter to support his good friend and urge his followers to support the football team in these crucial times.

Kohli’s tweet reads, “Please take notice of my good friend and Indian football skipper @chetrisunil11’s post and please make an effort.”

Sunil has also posted a video in which he has spoken about the importance of the game and importance of support to the game.

It is true that our nation’s football is not as competitive as the European nation, but the constant improvement will one day yield good result.
