Well, but not in everyone’s case things finish on a good not e,we have witnessed Phill Huges’s catastrophic incident that shock the world where he was hit by a bouncer and lost his life on the pitch.

Everyone sportsperson in the world wishes to finish off career with a grand farewell match and with an emotional pitch, but not everyone is that lucky.

In recent the Indian pacer Asish Nehra hung up his boots from international cricket and he had the privileged to finish his career on a high note, but not every Indian Cricketers had the chance to do so.

1 Sunil Gavaskar(1977-1987)

The right handed master blaster Sunil Gavaskar did not receive any farewell, but what the little man did for team India, he deserves a proper farewell,He is first cricketer who reached the milestone of 10000 test cricket runs, he is the third cricket to play 100 tests, and many mores, and he has river of record in his names.

He played his last game for Team India in 1987 world cup against England in the Semi Final, but after that he was not picked up in the national team again,  and his career ends there, Nevertheless the Indian cricket fans cherish the great moments he produced in his career.

2 Rahul Dravid (1996-2012)

In his playing days most of the cricket fans called him the wall, in many occasions the Indian legend stood like a wall for team India.

Few of his outstanding knocks will stay forever in Indian Cricket fans mind,Though he played his heart out for team India, but in 2011 he was dropped from the pecking order in Team India, and after that in 2012 he takes retirement from the gentlemen’s game.

3 Virender Shewag (1999-2015)

The sultan of Multan did not receive any proper testimonial in his end days, he was one of the destructive batsmen the game has produced, and he is the uncrowned king of Indian cricket team, but he did not receive a farewell game in his life.

He played his last test match against Australia but after that he got dropped from the team and never gets a callback; in 2015 he chose to call of his career.

4 VVS Laxman (1996-2012)]

One of the batsman at no 5 or 6 position cricket world ever witnessed, many peopled called him the Australian nightmare.

Though he came to bat No 5 or 6 but still he managed to scored 8,781 runs for the team,He played his last game against his favorites Australia and after that he was dropped from the team and in 2012 he brought curtains to his career, now he is doing a wonderful job with Sunrisers Hyderabad.

5 Zaheer Khan (2000-2015)

The left handed pacer is one of the gems in Indian cricket, and VVS Laxman also said that Zaheer and Ashish one of the finest bowlers he has played with.

No one can forget his wonderful spell at 2011 world cup final, where he was like unplayable.Though he has undergone a lot in his career but he always stood up against all the odds, In 2013 he made his second debut to the test team and enlists his name to the 300 wicket takers list. In 2015 he was dropped by the team and after that he called of his career.
