India A, which will be led by Shreyas Iyer, is all set to compete tri-series tournament along with England Lions and Windies A in England starting from June 17.

The tour consists of four practise matches which will be followed by six league games. This will be followed by top two teams making it to the finals.
India A will feature in two practise matches against Yorkshire and Leicestershire on 17th and 19th June, while the main league matches will start from 22nd June.
Many talented young players in the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Shubhman Gill and Deepak Chahar will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and talent.
But the young talented wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson will miss the tour as Sanju failed to pass the mandatory yo-yo test, which is a must-pass fitness test which is conducted before any player gets selected into the squad.
The reports in Mumbai Mirror suggested that Sanju failed to pass the prescribed 16.1 mark in the yo-yo test. The India A team has already began their preparations for the tour shortly after they had landed in England.
The tri-series tournament will be very important for the youngsters as the senior team has some important and big matches coming in the future, and the performance in this tri-series whether a player gets selected in the senior team or not.
