5. Kane Williamson
The Kiwi skipper has answered all the critics who had doubted his ability with the white ball by playing extremely well in the IPL 2018. He is currently at the eighth position in the rankings and has the ability to reach higher.
He has scored over 5000 runs with an average of more than 45 in the ODIs for New Zealand. His country is one of the favourites to lift the trophy in July next year and Williamson needs to perform in order to fulfil his country’s dream.
He has once reached as high as the third spot in the ODI rankings and he has got the necessary ingredients in his arsenal to be at the top some day in the future.
