The honor of this gentleman has notched up after he asked an Indian lady to hold the Indian national flag, “Apna Flag Seedha Karo”.
Afridi’s wonderful gesture has been appreciated by almost every Indian famous cricketer, and after that event Pakistani reporter asked about his absolute love about other, speaking to the Newsman to Karachi, Afridi says we should always respect the national flags of other countries.
Afridi said: “We should respect the flags of other nations and that’s why I asked them to hold their flag in a proper way.”
“I also wanted them to have a better picture.”
The former Pakistani skipper also spokes about the cricketing relation about India and Pakistan and what could be the future expectation from here on, Afridi believes that players of both the countries have a good relationship and thinks cricket can elaborate the relation between both the countries.
He added: “The cricketers of both the nations want to play for the betterment of relations between the countries. We are ambassadors of peace and want to spread love and peace around the world. We all are good friends and had a great time playing Cricket on Ice,”
He also spokes about Pakistani teams opprobrious whitewash against New Zealand in the ODI series, and he says that lack of practice of players made this outcome, Afridi stated: “When you know you are going to play with a tough opponent in tough conditions you should have practiced more.”
