Bhajji picks his India Squad for World Cup 2019

The 12th edition of the 2019 World Cup is going to take place in England and Wales. It is from 30th May to 14th July. It will be played in a Round-Robin format . In case you didn’t know about the format, each team will play with every other team once and the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals .

 Ten teams will feature in this year’s World Cup . A total of 48 matches will be played between them. The first match will be played between the hosts England and South Africa at Kennington Oval, London. And the final will be held on July 14 at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

As a result , many cricket pundits and ex-players are predicting about the players who can make it into the squad of 15 members. On the other hand , our very own Bhajji has predicted his line-up. Harbhajan Singh spoke to Sports Tak, the 38 year old Indian Off-Spinner did not change the current line up . But, he did not include Rishab Pant in his squad

Bhajji includes Shankar in World Cup Squad

The young left-handed wicket-keeper batsman was not part of the 50-over series in both Australia and New Zealand. In which , the Men in Blue won both of them.

According to Chief Selector MSK Prasad , Pant is included in the World Cup Squad . Pacer Umesh Yadav and Vijay Shankar are also in contention . The Jalandhar born, who was part of Indian World Cup winning squad, has also included Ravindra Jadeja as a possible replacement incase of injuries.

Because of his impressive show with the white ball in the series Down Under , Mohammad Shami is also selected. As a result , is a must have player in the squad. The rest of the squad is as expected and will feature usual faces.

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (c), Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (wk), Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami,  Umesh Yadav and Vijay Shankar.
