MS Dhoni (Captain and Wicketkeeper)

Dhoni has found himself back again in this IPL both as a power-hitting finisher and as captain, as he led his team Chennai Super Kings to their third IPL title.

In the previous seasons he had a strike rate of 121.96, 135.23 and 116.00. But this year his strike rate has gone up to 150.66.

He has scored 455 runs this season with an average of 75.83 which included a match-winning 70 not out and a 51 off 21 balls against RCB and Delhi Daredevils respectively.

Andre Russell

He has been the best fast bowling all-rounder and has also proved his worth with the bat. Having played 16 matches, he has scored 316 runs with a strike rate of 184.79.

This trike rate is the highest among all other batsmen who have faced at least 100 balls this season. He has also hit 31 sixes this season. With the ball he has taken 13 wickets at an economy of 9.38.
