Best and worst buy from IPL 2020 auction

On this 19th October of 2020 the IPL auction helps up in Kolkata for the first time where the eight franchise of the Mega cricketing event tries to cover their loopholes, in the mini-auction the Aussie player Pat Cummins and Glenn Maxwell came out as a winner as both the Australian international fetched mammoth amount from Kolkata Knight Riders and from Kings XI Punjab respectively.

In this Mini IPL auctions, many players got some unimaginable bids from the Franchises, and the franchisees also went for Local uncapped players as well as some uncapped players like Varun Chakravarthy and Yashasvi Jaiswal manage to fetch the big amount of money from the IPL franchise.

Many other jaw-dropping surprises also took place in this auction as some, not to popular names grabbed some astonishing bids from the franchises and some players went unsold.

5)Kings XI Punjab signs one of the best all-rounders:

The New Punjab coach Anil Kumble has got one of the most prudent cricketing brains and that he proves again in the IPL 2020 auction.

For this thirteenth edition of IPL Punjab appointed him in replacement of Mike Hesson, and with his coaching experience with the Karnataka stars, the former Indian spinner understood that they need some foreign talents to go the extra mile in this edition.

In the auction they roped in the Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell for ₹10.75 Crores and they understood the Aussie cannot get them through the line all alone on his shoulder so after that they bucketed the New Zealander James Neesham who was in a great form in 2019 and they got him on his base price amount  50 Lakh only.
