The 25 year old English all rounder is in high demand between the IPL franchises this year, along with Ben Stokes, Jason Roy, Joe Root, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills and Alex Hales will be the IPL auction pool this year.

Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions the newcomers in the IPL want to rope the English International in their squad, last season both the teams fail to make an impact in the IPL but they are desperate to do well this term.

Last year under MSD the Rising Pune supergiants avoid the wooden spoon and they finished at the penult position of the IPL table.

Under Suresh Raina the other new comers Guajrat Lions reach the Playoffs, but their future is uncertain this time and they are now at least definitive of one more season in the IPL league.

Because of that, both the franchises are ready to make the most of the opportunity.

This season both the teams are showing their interest to hijack the English international Ben Stokes in their squad,

Ben Stokes attacking batting style can be a threatening prospect for the opposition. Both the teams are in a hunt to bucket him in their squad. But there is some clause, both the teams will hire him if they can have him for the entire tournament.

The Gujrat Lions CEO told: “If I told you that we are not looking at him as an option, then that certainly will not be the case. He is definitely an option. But I will not tell you whether he fits into our scheme of things or not. Ideally when you take in a player, you bring him in with the understanding that he will be available for all games,”

At the same time the Rising Pune Supergiants CEO told that: “If English players (and Ben Stokes is certainly one) make themselves available for the entirety of the tournament, they are bound to create a flutter or two.”
