Mitchell Starc’s spell helped the Australian side to bowl out the hosting team Sri-Lanka for 281 on the first day of the second test.
Starc took 5/44, this is his fifth 5-wicket haul and helped the Kangaroos to bowl out the Sri Lankan batsman on the very first day of the second test at Galle.
On the other side Kusal Mendis was the top scorer for the Sri- Lanka, he scored 86 runs and took the Sri-Lanka’s score to 281 at least.
In the second innings the host team Sri-Lanka replyed them very well and they have got the early wickets of the Australian openers as Dilruwan Perera and Vishwa Fernando have picked one wicket each for Sri-Lankan side and prove that this is not the way the match will end.
After the first day of the second test, the result is Sri-Lanka 281/10 and 54/2 Australia.
