During the 2011 World Cup, Sachin scored 2 hundreds and reached his 99th ton. He added a few more fifty-plus scores but couldn’t get one more ton. After almost a year, in the 2012 Asia Cup, Sachin scored his 100th ton against Bangladesh.

It took Sachin 35 balls to go from 80 to 100 runs. This shows the amount of nervousness he had at that moment. After reaching the three-figure mark, Sachin became emotional. As a result he shed a few tears and cried on the field.
