The young Windies pacer caught the limelight when Chennai Super Kings picked him in 2013. At that time it seemed that Holder has got everything which a fast bowler wants to possess.

However he failed to live up to the hype. He played 6 games for Chennai Super Kings and took just 2 wickets. As a result he was released. Later he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.

But there too he failed to impress. Overall in his IPL career, Holder has taken 5 wickets in 11 games at an economy rate of 8.5. Despite his IPL performances, Windies cricket board believed in him and made Holder their captain across all formats. But that recently came to an end as the captaincy was split.

5. Andrew Flintoff

This English all-rounder was very vital for England in the Ashes 2005. His all-round efforts gave England a lot of success. However many might have forgotten that Flintoff was once the part of Chennai Super Kings squad.

Everyone expected a lot from Flintoff when he debuted in IPL. However he was dispatched all over the ground as if he was an amateur bowler. With the bat too, Flintoff failed to contribute much. It became very much clear that Flintoff has become the shadow of his former self.

As a result Chennai Super Kings released him. After that Flintoff failed to grab another IPL contract. Because of his injuries, his international career also got shortened. He later debuted in singing and boxing. The 2019 World Cup became a huge success and Flintoff was one of the pillars of strength.
