5 Records Virat Kohli May Never Be Able To Break

4. Best Test batting average (Don Bradman – 99.94)

Kohli has created many records in the longest format of the game but it is unlikely for him to break Don Bradman’s average of 99.94.

Even Steve Smith, who is the best Test batsman in modern day, has an average of 63.75 in Tests while Kohli has an average of 53.4.

It will require extraordinary consistency for Kohli in the next 8-9 years for him to even get near the record of Bradman.

3. Most sixes in international cricket (Shahid Afridi – 476)

Virat is among those cricketers who play the ball all along the ground. Even in T20 format, he prefers to hit the ball all along ground and takes risks only when necessary.

He is such a batsman who believes in keeping the scorecard ticking by running hard between the wickets.

Until now he has hit only 168 sixes which shows his low intensity of hitting sixes. By the time he retires from cricket, he might not be able to break Afridi’s record.
