4. KL Rahul – Assistant Manager of RBI
The Karnataka-born lad is regarded to become one of the huge cricketers in the future. However at present he is been left out from the national squad. He had a decent performance during India’s World Cup journey in England.
However he failed against West indies and was sacked from the team. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Rahul had a stellar outing. This made his case of making a comeback even stronger. In IPL, Rahul has made appearance for a number of teams.
He has played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab. However it is only with KXIP that he found success. Besides playing cricket, Rahul has the job of assistant manager in Reserve Bank of India.
Not only Rahul, but other Indian cricketers like Umesh Yadav and Shahbaz Nadeem also has this same job. Rahul’s parents are more happy of Rahul getting a job in RBI rather than playing cricket. This fact was acknowledged by Rahul himself in an interview a couple of years ago.
5. Kamran Khan – Farming
This player from Uttar Pradesh was bought by Rajasthan Royals back in 2009. He instantly made a mark with his weird bowling action. Kamran was also very productive and had a pretty good time with RR.
He was also the first bowler to bowl in a super over. This happened in a game in 2009 between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Cape Town. After leaving RR, Kamran represented Pune Warriors in 2011.
However later at a very young age Kamran decided to quit cricket for undisclosed reasons. He went back to his village and took the job of a farmer to help his family. He never looked back at cricket and since 2014 hasn’t played any professional game.
