1. Parvinder Awana – Inspector of Income Tax Department
Awana was once regarded to be one of the best T20 bowlers in the future. He was very impressive in IPL where he played for Kings XI Punjab. He used his slower deliveries and full-length blockholes to good effect.
Because of his IPL performances, he got a call from the national team. However because of some strange reasons, he only played 2 T20Is for India. In IPL, Awana played a total of 33 games. He last played in 2014 and was later never picked in the auction.
Later through the sports quota, Awana was given the job of an Inspector in the Income Tax Department. He later married Sangeeta Kasana in a private ceremony in Delhi. Sangeeta works as a sub-inspector in the Delhi Police. Although the 33-year-old didn’t formally announce retirement, yet he is away from the game for a while now.
