On 23 May Wednesday, the whole cricketing fraternity were left shocked when the South African veteran AB de Villiers announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect.

Having made his debut in 2004 at Port Elizabeth against England, the 34-year-old played a total 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is.

The veteran player has achieved many feats and has many records to his name, but there are some things he would hope he had in his CV before retiring form this beautiful game. Here is the list of 5 such things which de Villiers could not achieve.

No ODI 200 and T20I 100

Although he has the record of fastest ODI hundred and fastest ODI 150 to his name, yet he never could achieve the magical number of an ODI double hundred.

In 78 T20Is, his individual highest score was 79 not out and has never scored a century. With potential like his, it is something he could have done, but could never do.
