Despite being one of the best spinners in the shortest format of the game, a price tag of Rs. 9 crores seemed too much for the 19-year-old spinner, but it wasn’t.
Rashid did whatever he could do to prove his worth, by taking wickets, bowling dot balls, taking catches, scoring runs and even affected some run-outs.
He took 21 wickets at an economy of under 7, and his all-round performance against KKR in the 2nd Qualifier is one of the best one would see in a T20 game.
