4 Things India Should Change Before the Third Test

3. Play Karun Nair in place of Hardik Pandya

The inclusion of Hardik Pandya was made ahead of Ravindra Jadeja in the squad because he provides an option of an extra fast bowler.

However Pandya did not perform as expected as he could not get any wicket in Edgbaston and managed only three at the Lord’s.

Moreover his frailties as a batsman has been exposed every time and in recent conditions where the team has failed in the batting department, India should opt for a sixth batsman.

Nair, who has been in good touch with India A and has been playing four-day cricket in England, should be included in the squad in place of Pandya as he can provide the solidity to the fragile middle order.
