Presently Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the history of Indian Premier League. They first won the title in 2013. Since then every alternate year, i.e. 2015, 2017 and 2019, they have lifted the trophy.

However with every new season, new challenges come in. It is very important for a franchise to plan things way ahead of the tournament. In this aspect Mumbai Indians have been quite a consistent team.

They have a knack for giving plenty of opportunities to their players. Moreover they also have a keen eye in recognizing a talent. Over the years they have provided the national team with some excellent cricketers.

Still there are some shortcomings in the MI squad. Although they can fix this during the auction, but before that they can fix it during the IPL trade window. They have already replaced Mayank Markande with Sherfane Rutherford through the IPL trade.

There are many all-rounders like Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard in MI squad. However they lack someone to fill up the void in the middle order. Although Yuvraj Singh is in the ranks, but last season he didn’t get many games.

Moreover players like Ishan Kishan won’t really help solve the purpose. Thus this is where Shivam Dube can be of help. He is known to be a big-hitter and can be a future great player. Shivam didn’t get much chance with RCB in 2019 as the team is top-heavy.

In return RCB will get Aditya Tare who is a wicketkeeper-batsman. RCB doesn’t have a wicketkeeper except Parthiv Patel. In MI, Tare hasn’t played a game since 2017. In RCB he can be a reliable middle-order option along with being a backup wicketkeeper.
