OUT! Bowled. Daryl Mitchell to Adil Rashid. Off cutter half volley, off stump on the front foot driving, missed to. A clinical New Zealand have beaten a sloppy England by 21 runs in Wellington to level the T20I series 1-1. Asked to bat first, the Kiwis posted a healthy 8-176 thanks to powerful hitting from Martin Guptill, Colin de Grandhomme and Jimmy Neesham. The tourists dropped several catches at vital moments, something they will look back on as having greatly impacted on the result of the match. Tim Southee got the chase off to the perfect start for his side with a wicket first ball, before the spinners Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi wreaked havoc by snaring five wickets between them. Chris Jordan threatened to turn the match on it's head with a swashbuckling knock, but the Black Caps always seemed to be ahead of the game and deservedly closed it out. That means things are nicely poised heading to Nelson for the Third T20I on Tuesday.
