Sri Lanka wins the third Test match on their home ground

Sri Lanka started the fifth day with their second innings which led to a total score of 347 runs and declared after losing 8 wickets. On this very day none of the wickets was been able to pluck by the Aussies and Dhananjaya de Silva retained on the ground for unbeaten 65 runs. Sri Lankans were sure to dent Australia to a very low score in their second innings. Kaushal Silva lead the scorers for Lankans with a total runs of 115 on striking 10 boundaries.

On the other hand Sri Lankans made Australia miserable on the ground, they were dented to a meager runs of 160 after losing all of their wickets, David Warner scored the highest of 68 runs where as the runs of the majority did not even touch the two-digit figure. Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Starc abled to score 23 runs each for their team.

Rangana Herath stroke the Aussies with a great blow from which they might not recover soon, taking a heap of 7 wickets Herath proved his efficiency towards his team, provided 64 runs on opposite of 18.1 overs with 3 maidens included. Dilruwan Perera helped his team and accompanying Hearth by sending 2 of the rivals back to pavilion.
