Mohammad Kaif as the captain of Ranji debutants Chattisgarh.

Mohammad Kaif is appointed as the captain of Chattigsarh team which will debut themselves in the upcoming Ranji Trophy.

 

Former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif to represent as the skipper of Chattigsarh team in the upcoming season of Ranji trophy. Kaif played a number of matches in Ranji trophy in which he performed very well. Seeing this, management decided to appoint him the captain in the upcoming matches of the trophy.

 Chattigsarh to represent for the maiden time in the Ranji trophy.

Presently Kaif is being seen mostly playing in domestic matches in India where as 10 years back he was a part of the national team. He is well known for the innings of India’s Natwest Trophy victory in 2002. Kaif played 13 test matches where he scored 624 runs with a highest runs of 148 against West Indies. In ODIs he played 125 matches with a total runs of 2753 runs with an average of 32 plus. He gained 2 hundreds and 17 half-centuries.
