INDIA TO FIGHT AGAINST WEST INDIES IN TWENTY20 SERIES

After the test series, India to clash against West Indies in Florida, USA. The total series will be a Twenty20 with two matches.

The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) agreed for a Twenty20 series between India and West Indies in USA later this month. Currently India and West Indies are playing a four-test series on the Caribbean ground. The test series will end in Trinidad on August 22. The scheduled dates for the Twenty20 is 27 and 28 August.

 
 Broward Parks and Recreation Manager, Duncan Finch told that West Indies cricket officials had written him to commence the Twenty20 matches.

“We had an email inquiring about late-August availability of the stadium by representatives of the WICB last week. We have August 24 to 27, and they were asking about Sunday, August 28, as well. We would have to cancel a small event to give them the Sunday,” Finch said.

West Indies were granted the permission to play matches in Florida, USA after they approached the ICC. Last match was played in Florida was between Sri Lanka and New Zealand in 2010. Florida is to commence six matches of 2016 Caribbean Premier League scheduled from July 28 to July 31.

Currently, eight player of total 15 are in West Indies for tests. Names like  Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ravichandran are the top and regular players of Twenty20s.
