MAXWELL RULED OUT OF AUSTRALIAN TEAM.

Australian all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell was recently dropped out of the 15 man squad for the upcoming ODIs between Australia and Sri Lanka as his average score was less than 10 runs in his last 10 matches.

Maxwell says, he takes full responsibility for his dumping. He will be back when his team feels that he is needed.

It is a great drop in the fame of all-rounder Maxwell to see the match outside ground. Presently, he is playing in Australia team A against South Africa team A in two four-day tests in Queensland.

The all-rounder gained 1710 runs in 62 ODIs and 391 runs in 27 T20s.

"I've taken it pretty well. I think having this opportunity (playing for Australia A) at the same time softens the blow a little bit. It gives you an opportunity to prove them (selectors) wrong or show them that you really want to be back there.”
"The silver lining is to come up to Queensland and get on turf and out of the indoor setup. It is hard work to work on your game indoors because it becomes easy and a bit boring."  Said Maxwell to the media in Townsville.
Maxwell does not belive that he deserve more chances to be back in his form. "No, I think they (selectors) showed enough (loyalty), if you look at the last 10 ODIs I didn't score enough runs. If you're in the top six, then you're a batting all-rounder first and I probably didn't score as many runs as I could have. I fully take responsibility for that and have made sure I've moved on."
