Mujeeb Ur Rahman Chooses His Favourite Batsman between Virat Kohli and Steve Smith

There are a number of cricket players who have emerged over the last few years. Among them Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Australia’s former skipper Steve Smith will be on the top.

Between both Kohli has emerged as a phenomenon and has been dominating in all the formats. The Delhi-born cricketer has become a headache for the opposition in every Test, ODI or T20 match he plays.

He recently surpassed Sachin Tendulkar as he became the fastest to reach 10,000 ODI runs. Although his Test career was topsy-turvy previously, he has now upped his game.

The 30-year-old batsman is now the number one ranked batsman in the traditional format of the game. He will be leading his team in the T20I series against the Aussies next.

On the other hand the 29-year-old Steve Smith’s cricketing figures are also magnificent. He has scored 3431 runs in 108 ODI games with an average of 41.84. In Test cricket, he has 6199 runs from 64 runs with an average of 61.37.

But the present year has not gone well for the former Australian skipper. He was handed a one-year ban by Cricket Australia (CA) after he was found guilty of a ball-tampering scandal.

The incident took place in March earlier this year. To add salt to the injury, he also lost his number one Test ranking spot to his rival Virat Kohli.

Meanwhile Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman took part in the Instagram’s feature of ‘Ask me a Question’. One of the supporter asked him to choose between Kohli and Smith. The fan wrote, “Virat Kohli or Steve Smith”.

The Afghan spinner did not hesitate at all in choosing his favourite batsman. He replied to the question as he wrote, “Virat Kohli”.
