India vs West Indies: Kohli and Ashwin extend dominance of India over Windies on Day 2

It’s the man in mission Virat Kohli Who has reached yet another milestone in his career by scoring his a maiden double century in any format of the game and kept India’s dominance on the 2nd day of the 1st Test.

Kohli and Ashwin put India in Commanding position, as Ashwin also scored his third Test hundred. The Windies shoulder we dropping as the partnership between the Indian pair continued to add runs to the scoreboard. 

Ashwin went on doing his business quietly by playing a crucial knock for his side and also shared a record with the skipper , as they both add 168-runs for the fifth-wicket at this venue.  But soon after the Windies got the wicket  of Virat Kohli , as he Indian Test skipper was dismissed on the first ball after lunch by Gabriel .
India imposed 566-runs for the loss of eight wickets in their first innings , as Wriddhiman Saha played a handy knock of 40-runs and Amit Mishra helped the score by scoring his fourth Test fifty. 

At the end of the day 2 of the 1st Test, India is in commanding position after the visitors declaring the as 566/8, and reduction the hosts to 31/1.
