ZIMBABWE VS NEW ZEALAND, 2ND TEST, DAY 1: A WELL OFF START FOR NEW ZEALAND, LATHAM LEAVES A MARK

New Zealand scored a total of 329 runs in the first day of 2nd Test Match against Zimbabwe

New Zealand started a well off journey comprising of batting against Zimbabwe in the first day of econd test match series. The squad made a total runs of 329 in 89.5 overs, losing only 2 of their men. Tom Latham starred the day with his tremendous 136 runs, comprising 11 boundaries on the ground of Bulawayo. He was sent back to pavilion by Sean Williams, after both bowl and caught. 87 runs came from the bat of Martin Guptill, marking 11 boundaries and a huge six under his name. Skipper Kane Williamson stood on the ground for an unbeaten runs of 95, smashing 8 boundaries. 

On the other hand Zimbabwe bowlers could not resist their rivals. Runs were being snatched from them by batsmen. Zimbabwe skipper Graeme Cremer bowled 25 overs presenting 108 runs to the other side. Donald Tiripano and Sean Williams, each plucked a single man of their rivals.
