5 Players played for this Franchises we Never Knew

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is well justified and know for producing world class talents and gifting it to the cricket fraternity over the last 10 years. This is one of the biggest platforms for not just Indian but for International players too, to shape their cricketing career by learning from the bests in the game.

Here is the list of player who played for franchises we never knew. 

1. Steve Smith – Royal Challengers Bangalore

This is shocking for everyone, but it’s true the former Aussie skipper with the RCB in 2010, at that time he was under the shadow of many star foreign players and did not get a chance to showcase his talent for RCB. 2. Manish Pandey – Mumbai Indians

So far he is one of the best talents that nourished by IPL, he made his debut in the IPL with Mumbai Indians, it is difficult to imagine him in the blue jersey for the KKR fans, in his first season he made three appearances for them and then moved to RCB in the next year and  with them he made his first IPL century , and he is the first Indian to score a ton in the IPL.

3. Chris Lynn-Decan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad

This is a shocking news for the KKR fans, this term many KKR fans thought that Chris will lead them in this IPL quest, but he began his IPL career with the two times Champions Decan Chargers, he made his debut in 2012, just played one game and scored 12 and get dropped in the next match, In 2013 against after After Air Decan breach their contract with IPL he got dragged into the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, but did not play a single game for them and then in 2014 KKR picked him up.

4. Eion Morgan – Royal Challengers Bangalore

In his time with England national team as a skipper, he did some wonderful work with the rampant England team, most of us came to know about him in his time with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the year from 2011 to 2013, but he also played a small tenure with the RCB in 2010. But in that season he did not play a single game for the RCB, along with him Steve Smith was there on the Bench.

5. Mohammad Kaif – Kings XI Punjab

He is one of the esteemed cricketers in the year of 2000’s for his fielding attributes, but then his career declined in the next few years, though he had a great opening IPL season with the RR, after that no one seems to remember him when he played with the Kings Xi Punjab in 2010. He just made three appearances for them in that season and in the next season joined RCB.
