5. Most ODI runs (Sachin Tendulkar – 18426 runs)

Virat Kohli has been the mainstay of the team like the great legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, and has been the target of the opposition from the start.

Kohli’s records in ODIs has been going good as he has racked in quite a good amount of runs. However he is not likely to break the record for the most runs in ODIs.

At present Kohli has played 211 games and has scored 9779 runs so far. He will surely play for the next 8-9 years but it will be difficult to surpass Tendulkar’s record.
