INDIA VS WEST INDIES, 1ST T20I, VENUE: CENTRAL BROWARD REGIONAL PARK STADIUM TURF GROUND, LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA, INDIA WON THE TOSS AND OPTED TO BOWL FIRST.

The news coming from Florida is that India have won the toss and their skipper Dhoni opted to bat first and allowing the current T20 champions to set a target, it will very interesting to watch the West Indies team as of how will they start this shorter format of the game.

 

Indian team came up with a very significant change allowing Stuart Binny in place of inform batsmen Shikhar Dhawan but for Rahul it is a great opportunity for him to prove, opening with somebody like Rohit Sharma. And from the West Indies side the mighty Chris Gayle will not be seen because of the injury.

This is wat the Indian skipper M.S. Dhoni said during the toss:

"We will bowl first. We had a decent preparation. The boys from the Test series had a good build-up, only me and Bumrah did not have much of a practice. It's a good challenge. We always felt this is abig market because of the Asian community here. The facility here is also very good. It's a great venue and good to come here and play cricket."

On the belhalf of the West Indies team their captain Carlos Brathwaite said:

"The fans expect us to play good cricket and continue our good show from the World T20. We want to play aggressive cricket with smiles on our faces. Few of the guys had CPL experience. Chris Gayle and Jason Holder are not playing."
