Former Australian batsman and expert on official broadcaster, Dean Jones, was seen speaking many words of appraisal in the name of Rashid Khan.

VIVO IPL 2018: Rashid Khan is the best leg spinner in the world, says Dean Jones

Dean Jones, who himself has previously been the coach of Afghanistan national cricket team, has praised the Afghanistan-born cricketer for his ability to spin the ball both ways.

The 19-year-old player was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League and has so far picked up two wickets in three games for his side.

When asked who the better between Chahal and Khan is, Jones said, “With all due respect to (Yuzvendra) Chahal, I am a big Rashid Khan fan. I have been a coach of the Afghanistan national team and I know how he is like off the ground. He can spin the ball both ways and has got four different grips for his wrong one.”

Yuzvendra Chahal is 27-years-old and he plays for India. Currently he is playing for the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Jones added more saying, “He has got one in the front of his hand and has two different grips for his leg break but even then have you ever seen him going for more than 30? The guy is an absolute super star.”

“All due respect to Chahal who is getting better and better, but this guy is on another level when compared to Chahal. Rashid khan is the best leg spinner in the world for me,” concluded Jones.
